Doylestown Hospital has 198 inpatient beds and a 14 bed Coronary/Intensive Care Unit

The Hospital's Medical Staff consists of more than 400 physicians, dentists and specified professional personnel.

Doylestown Hospital is a not-for-profit, acute care hospital owned by the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (V.I.A.), a community women's club which founded the hospital in 1923. It is part of the V.I.A. Health System which includes the Doylestown Health Foundation, Pine Run Community and Health Center, PineRun Lakeview, Colmar Imaging (MRI) and the Health & Wellness Center of Doylestown Hospital.
